One of Hambleton's most monumental of canvases, stretching over some 2.5 metres in height and 1.7m across. It depicts his archetypal shadowman figure and unique bold muscular composition and painterly flair. Painted in 1997, it predates his flurry of late work and was painted during a period in which Hambleton had largely withdrawn from the art world.
