Biography

''There are no extraordinary people, only ordinary people who do extraordinary things.'' Connor Brothers

James Golding and Mike Snelle, British artists operating under the pseudonym The Connor Brothers, rose to prominence in 2012. For a significant period, they safeguarded their anonymity by employing a fictional biography. In 2014, their identities were disclosed in a substantial feature by Mick Brown in The Telegraph magazine, opening doors for them to engage in more ambitious projects.

Connor Brothers artworks aim to navigate the blurred lines between truth and fiction, offering insights into the complexities of the world. This exploration is frequently evident in the recreation and reinterpretation of 1950s posters and vintage paperback book covers. Additionally, the theme extends to a broader range of mediums, including silkscreen prints and paintings.
